Hello my name is Millicent, and I am a home carer with a vast experience in the care industry, specialising with individuals who have mild cognitive impairment, who are bedridden or suffer from anxiety and depression.
I am dedicated to ensuring that you receive the best possible care, and I provide a range of care types, such as live-in, hourly, and overnight care, to suit your needs.
With my experience in working in the care industry I have developed a compassionate, emphatic approach to my clients. I enjoy getting to know clients, and I am a very patient person always happy to work at my client’s pace, following their lead. I possess essential caregiving skills such as bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as doctors also supporting family members with respite care.
Despite not having a car, I have a full clean driving license, and happy to drive to help you get to your appointments or outings.
In my free time, I participate in hobbies such as walking, dancing, socialising, and reading. I am part of my local church, which gives me the opportunity to meet new people, offer counsel, care and run activities with the youth.
I am committed to helping individuals lead independent lives and value your independence and well-being. My friendly attitude, caring nature, and ability to connect with people under my care set me apart as a carer.
